As to the second base, you must know that the second base tho working in the system will actually be a stand -alone.
What I mean is that each base will have to be armed/ schedules / etc on their own....sort of like the Q cameras if you have one.
As to geozoning, i have run two bases , but have not tried to geozone both at the same time...( don't even know if possible ).
But I DO like them running separately as I would set a schedule on one base for some external cameras and run a geozone or different schedule on the other. To me it allowed more inflexibility
Setting up two bases also depends on the ethernet ports available ... I have two access points ( Orbi and satellite ) with ports, so it was easy to set up one base at each end of the house...you sync the cameras you want to use to each depending on needs ( as long as good signals ) like inside - outside .
