Looking to get some information about Geo fencing with the second base station. Looking to get a second set of cameras that would come with an extra base station and curious as to if having the extra base-station would improve the Geo fencing for the whole system. Are there are also any recommendations on where in the house to best place each base station so that service is strong.

As to the second base, you must know that the second base tho working in the system will actually be a stand -alone.

What I mean is that each base will have to be armed/ schedules / etc on their own....sort of like the Q cameras if you have one.

As to geozoning, i have run two bases , but have not tried to geozone both at the same time...( don't even know if possible ).

But I DO like them running separately as I would set a schedule on one base for some external cameras and run a geozone or different schedule on the other.  To me it allowed more inflexibility

Setting up two bases also depends on the ethernet ports available ... I have two access points ( Orbi and satellite ) with ports, so it was easy to set up one base at each end of the house...you sync the cameras you want to use to each depending on needs ( as long as good signals ) like inside - outside .
