Considering providing permanent power to Arlo Pro camera using wall plug USB charger and micro USB cable.
I understand that Arlo Pro cameras use Qualcomm Quickcharge. Is it Quickcharge 2.0 or 3.0?
Does anyone know the actual current draw?
Does anyone have experience with how LONG the USB cable can be?
Thanks

It's 2.0.
Folks have used the 15 foot USB extension cables available online with some success.
If you're going to be running power continuously then you could remove the battery and run off a standard 5v 2A usb charger.
If you want to keep the battery installed then you would need to run the dual voltage charger that came with the kit as the battery will not charge on 5v.

The big issue with a long cable is the wire size - use a quality cable or the voltage drop could be significant.
As mentioned above, you don't have to keep the battery in place to run the camera which then only requires 5v. However, if power goes off for any reason, the camera won't work so keeping the battery in place is a good idea. As long as it has a charge, you'd be fine but 5v won't charge it - you'd have to swap chargeres or take the camera down to get it charged back up. The cable is USB2.0 but the charger has to have the porper capabilities, including 9v output to be able to keep the battery charged at all times.
BTW, if you want the camera running even with power out, be sure to use a UPS/battery backup with your modem, router and base plugged into it or it's for naught.
