The Pro/Pro2 have a max range of about 25 ft for people....
I would place the camera somewhere between the windows and door opening aiming down to the steps & side walk.
The adjust the sense level up about 97%. See if it detects well, and then if to sensitive, lower 1% and test for a few days, then repeat till you get good triggers without a lot of false ones... try not to allow the street / cars in the view as they can lead to many false triggers

Hi, trusharp
I have provided a link to a KB with a lot of good information for your camera set up. Generally the ideal placement would be 7' off the ground and angled slightly downwards. This will allow the cameras sensor to perform the best.
How do I position my Arlo Wire-Free or Arlo Pro Wire-Free camera?

The suggestions that was given was good. I just need to get an USB male to female adapter to make sure the arlo pro is connected hardwired in the front as there is lots of foot traffic where i live.
