Arlo Pro Plugged into wall outlet?

Does anyone know if while using the Arlo Pro Cameras and it's plugged into the wall for power, does it need to have the battery in the camera or will it operate without the battery if plugged in?  Thanks.

It will operate just fine without the battery installed... ( use the supplied adapter and cable  )
