I found something very strange occurring with my vehicles after connecting the Arlo Pro - 2 camera security system. The keyless entry, remote starter for both of my grand cherokees parked in my back parkpad stopped working. Originally I had placed the cameras inside the house, monitoring the front door and the back yard. When I found that the cameras don't motion detect via pixel changes rather IR, I mounted them on the outside of the house. As soon as I mounted them on the outside of the house, my keyfobs failed to work for BOTH grand cherokees. After hours of scratching my head, changing batteries, endless internet searching for failed keyfobs on grand cherokees and taking a cab to work I decided to manually move one of the Jeeps away from the house. If I manually start the vehicle with the key and move it out of range of the cameras, all keyfobs function properly.
1. Can you please let me know what frequency the cameras are running at to scramble and disable my keyfobs?
2. Is there anything I can do to change the frequency so this doen't happen?
3. Is the Arlo base or Arlo cameras doing anything else to other electronics (or people for that matter) in the house?
Thank you.

To make sure that it's anything Arlo causing the problem, power down Arlo and or remove the battery from the nearest cameras to see if the fobs then work.
Arlo uses normal 2.4 Ghz and your FOBs will be around 315Mhz and 434Mhz.

Thanks migman_2001. I didn't stumble across this post but will see what happens when my uconnect is on. It may just be connecting audio through via bluetooth to the speakers.

Hi there, thank you for the suggestion. I powered down the Arlo base and removed the battery from both cameras and the key fobs worked. I powered on the base, put the batteries in the cameras and mounted them, and again took over my keyfobs. This time I can walk right up to the jeep and it detects the key thankfully, but the buttons do not work to open the doors, remote start or open the back hatch lid unless I am away from the house. Do you have any other suggestions?

I would try and reposition the cameras around the corner if possible maybe using one of these mounts

You could try to reposition the base.
I have read online though that your model of car is prone to FOB interference and that there have been a few Uconnect updates to try and sort out the problem. See here
