Just installed the 4 camera kit and all working fine.

Base and cameras took the latest software upgrade as of Thursday this week.

When I use the Android or Iphone Arlo app to view the cameras it continually says checking status.

I am able to click the live button on each camera to get live view and the libarary function works properly.

Why does the checking status message continue to appear?

Does it matter?

I spoke too soon.

System has been running perfectly for 3 days and then stopped at 10.59am today.

"Base station is disconnected" message. I'm hoping either a power failure or internet issue.

I am remote from the site so will have to find out tomorrow.

When my "checking status" is done, that banner becomes the siren button. Since you have full connectivity other that issue, I would suggest doing a power cycle on the base station and see if it's just a start-up glitch.

I have power cycled the base, updated the Arlo app. and installed it on another Android device.

On entering the app. checking status for the cameras disappears immediately but at the bottom of the screen where the name of the base station is displayed it continues to show checking status.

When logging in using my PC, indeed under the base is a banner that says Turn siren on.

Seems to be an issue with the app rather than the hardware.
