Up until about 6 weeks ago my Arlo system was working fine. Now the cameras randomly turn themselves off and when I turn them back on through the phone application it doesn't really turn them on, even though it says they are on. It's also problematic to turn the cameras off when I'm home so they don't keep sending notifications. I turn them off through the phone application, but they don't actually turn off.
I am using the Android version of the app which was last updated on June 25th, 2020. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it twice and the problem remains. I have also restarted my base several times to no avail.
When logging into the phone app, it constantly says "getting status" and the cameras never update the live view. Sometimes one of the cameras will connect and the others do not. The app says all devices are armed, but it takes forever to get a response back from the camera, if I ever receive one at all.
The beauty of this system is the ability to be able to access it through the phone app, but it seems that beauty is now gone.
Any suggestions why the application has suddenly started to malfunction?

Have you tried a browser to see if the same thing happens? It may be that something has gone wrong and the fastest thing to do is to reset the system and start fresh. Remove all devices from Settings, My Devices. Claim the base and sync the cameras. Note all settings, modes, rules and schedule before doing this to speed the rebuild.
Note that youi usually don't have to unmount the cameras to sync them. I set up the ladder under the camera and go press the sync button on the base. I then have ~2 minutes to get to the camera to press that sync button. Cameras with weak signal may need to be brought closer to the base but many don't.
