I bought a Wifi Extender.  I'm hoping that it will help with the LAG in the video and sound.

I need to change which wifi the cameras are connected to.  The online instructions say to

- Open the app

- Choose the device

- Click on "Connected to" and choose a different wifi

HOWEVER, nothing happens when I touch "connected to" or our home internet wifi name.

How can I update this?  It seems like it should be so easy!!!

Do I need to factory reset the cameras?

Thanks

Beth

What model cameras do you have?

Also, do you have a base/smarthub?

The Pro cameras only connect to the wifi created by your base.  They cannot connect to your home wifi.

The wifi created by the base is closed (only for the cameras) - you cannot connect any other device to that wifi, and you cannot extend it with a wifi extender.

So while the extender can improve your home network coverage, unfortunately it will not do anything to improve performance of the cameras.
