2 of my Arlo Pro Cameras are having this interference ticking noise when plugged into the outlet using the original USB cable & power Adaptor. I get it when playing both live view and recorded clips with sound from the App.. Just want to find out if anyone out there have similar experience? Maybe this can be cured by firmware update?

There may be a issue.... with some of the early Pro cameras doing this... it was either a ticking noise or what I call "techno" music ( data noise ).
Call Netgear suport, have the Hardware model and serial number and FW version ( settings. device info )
They may be able to assist you

Hi Tom,
I just found out that when the battery is charging while camera is being used as live view. It's giving this fast ticking/flapping sound but when it's fully charged the noise slowed down but the sound still there.. I already swap/returned these cameras and still the same.. so I don't think these are defective cameras but it's something to do with design that's overlooked? Again, I hope anyone can do a test also..

@TomMac, @Johnny290.. Thanks guys, you're right.. My 3rd time to return the camera and finally I don't hear the noise anymore.. I was ready to return it for good but it worked.. I guess there's a lot of these defect cameras floating around.. These are Add-on cameras btw and both are connected by USB thru a pwr outlet with battery inside so I don't have to worry about running out of battery.. Does battery gets bad over time if I just leave it charging? I know it does an auto mode to prevent from overcharging but over time do you think it's going to lose the efficiency? Thanks again..

Darn it.. The issue still there having the ticking/treadmill noise while the battery is charging when using ios App both live view and recorded clips.. It's the only time though.. But when the battery is 100% charged the noise will disappear or when I unplugged the cord.. I bet most people will not hear this the first time because the battery is fully charged.. No wonder there's no complaint about it.. @JamesC.. can you guys check it out.. This is the 3rd camera I sent back and swap for a new one and it's still have this issue.. Thanks!

Unfortunately yes.. It's unlikely the 3rd time I get a defect camera? They are all new when I swap them to the store.. Try doing this to your camera, Let the battery drain a bit at least 90% without using the power outlet and then plug it back in to the outlet and view it on to your Apps.. Am using iOS so am not sure if it makes a difference on the Apps.. I don't think it does.. What I was hearing was a fast thump/flapping interference noise.. If you get this, then that's what I'm talking about.. If not, then I'll go ahead and swap again for the last time..
