I didn't buy yet the cameras, i want to make sure i can control the cameras and view and download the recordings but from a remote computer, not the computer that is connected to the router to which the NETGEAR is connected.
In other words can i manage and view the recordings from a computer that is on an other LAN

I was able to watch my home even while at sea on a cruise.

How do i do that?
The first time i install the cameras and the NETGEAR controller i use the computer at the home where the cameras are, i understand. i enter the site arlo.netgear.com and it searches the cameras.
But later can i use arlo.netgear.com to enter from an other computer?

I made a mistake, i will probably buy Arlo or Arlo Pro.
Can i attach a fixed wire, AC or DC, to them, in order not to change batteries?
It's hard to adjust each time the angle
Is a transformator supplied, is there an inlet to the transformator in the Arlos?

Arlo cams use 4 - 123 type batteries and do not have an ac adapter option
Arlo Pro ( and Pro2 ) use a rechargeable battery pack and can be plugged into ac ( tho at this time there is no outdoor ac adapter as the previous outdoor one was recalled )
Check out the product info at the top of page and also check the FAQs as almost every question has been answered.

I don't find a page for the base station, for which models is it suitable?
I think of buying Arlo Q or Arlo Q Plus, but i don't see in the manual that i need a base station.
So, if i use a mix of Arlo wire-free cameras, which need a base station and Arlo Q which don't need...
Is there only one model of base station? it is needed only for the Arlo wire free models Arlo, Arlo Pro?
