I have used my 5 Arlo cameras since I moved in to my new house and have had no problems until now. I left for vacation for two weeks and made sure that my cameras were all fully charged. After four days, all four cameras appeared offline which would point to the base station, but as I returned from the trip all the cameras were dead… If all the cameras were offline the entire time then why would it kill the batteries? Better yet, these Arlo batteries last around a month fully charged, so how would they be completely died when I came home?

I am very confused and would be very appreciative if someone could figure out why this happened. Or if this strange situation has ever happen to you.

If the cameras can't contact the base they will keep trying until the batteries die. The older bases (VMB3xxx plus the 4000 and 4500) may be problematic for power outages which may have the base being ready before the router. A reboot of the router and base, in that order, should fix it. The best way to avoid this is to use a UPS for your modem, router and base so they fly through most outages while maintaining the ability to record during that event.
