why does the Arlo app keep the Google Play Services running all the time and drain the batteries on phones? Also, why can't we simply access the web version from an android device rather than having to install the app? I love the cameras, but this is causing me to second guess keeping this system. I want to be notified  with the alerts, but I do not want my phone battery to drain twice as fast because of this app, is anyone looking into fixing these issues?

Try reinstalling the app.  I haven't seen this happening.  Is the phone and all apps up to date?

Yes.. as above...just checked my S7...  0 battery usage since last charge ( 2 days ago )
