Any manual that defines terminology and function for cameras?

Is there a manual that defines the terminology and function for the cameras?  For example, what is geofencing and what does this do?

Also, with this new app will loading the camera get quicker?  I like to turn my cameras off when I’m home to save battery life.

I am having problems with one of my batteries staying charged.   The other 3 are working fine.  Do I need to replace it?  The battery is not even a year old.
