Aiming 2 cameras at my truck through window but not picking up anything

I'm having an issue to get my cameras to detect motion, notify me, and also record it. The problem is I'm aiming my 2 cameras at my truck thru a window and it's not picking anything up after 3 feet away from the camera. Is there a way to fix this? I already turned the motion sensitivity up all the way.

The cameras use PIR (passive infrared) sensors to detect motion.  That doesn't work through glass.

 

You'll need to mount the camera outside.
