Adding 5th camera

Whenever I try to add a 5th camera to my Arlo Pro system, it recognizes the camera, but then when I bring up "device", it says, "This device is inactive.  A paid subscription is required to activate the device."  

Yet Arlo automated support says any number of cameras may be added.

What model is that 5th camera? Any camera newer than the Pro 2 needs a subscription although any newer camera should come with a trial subscription. Do you currently have any sort of subscription shown under Settings, Subscription?
