Should all 5 cameras be connected to the same ssid wifi?

How do you account for the use of wifi extenders with different ssid

This is for arlo pro cameras

This is for arlo pro cameras

It is easy...the Pro BASE  plugs into the wifi extender... The base then ( as always ) creates it own wifi network for the cameras ONLY.

The cameras themselves DO NOT connect to your home wifi but to the base.

It does not matter as to ssid as the base uses an etherent cable to plug in for access tto the internet ( from the extender )

 

The extender/base is centrally placed to maximize coverage to all the cameras ( as long as the extender reaches you home wifi )
