ARLO PRO first gen 2 Way Audio Is Not Working

Recently bought the 'ARLO PRO' model VMBxxx. Everything is functioning with the exception of the 2 way audio feature. I am able to hear audible when the cameras are streaming live and when it records. However, trying to speak thru the camera via the app on iOS (pressing and holding the microphone icon) does not work. I've check the volume settings on all 3 cameras and they are ON and at 100% volume, MICROPHONE and SPEAKERS are ON. I've tried to update the firmware and unfortunately there is none available, maybe because the first gen unit is not supported anymore? Is there a fix to this issues? IF NOT, they go back to COSTCO and will get another better brand name security camera.

Have you checked the app settings for the phone? Make sure all permissions are allowed.
