I HAVE BEEN USING THE CAMERAS FOR 3 YEARS NOW.  ONE IS STILL RECORDING OUTSIDE.  2 HAVE STOPPED BUT WHEN I TAKE THEM INTO BASE STATION INSIDE, THEY WORK.  ALSO, WHY IS IT THAT THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT TALK WITH ME TO HELP UNLESS I PAY THEM.  IS THAT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?????

I've noticed this as well.
I now see large gaps in the recordings - ie; I have cameras around the perimiter of my house. I can see cats walking laps around it but several cameras won't pick up their movements, therefore no recordings.
This is all part of Arlo's plan to drive everyone off who has the older legacy systems that came with free cloud service.
Hell, they're not even trying to hide it.
This has been going on for at least the past two years.
They keep trying to introduce new "bugs" just to piss people off.
Fix one problem after threats of lawsuits, then come up with a new one. Lather, rinse, repeat.
You'll notice that people using their newer, "paid subscription only" systems aren't having all these problems.

Thank you for replying.  Please, can you write to me.  You are absolutely correct in saying they re they are not willing to give any customer service unless you pay for it.  If I have to buy more cameras, I will not consider Arlo anymore.   And here  I have told so many others how good they were.

Could be something like wifi interference. Try power cycling the router then the arlo base station allowing them to reboot in between.

Thanks for your suggestions.  I do have one camera that works outdide.  the other 2 do work in my house only but not outside.  And they are synced to wifi  One other man wrote to tell me he has the same problem.  I guess they will only give customer service if you pay!!!!!

Are the internal cameras externally powered, if so remove the power for a few minutes to see if they start working. If not then remove the battery and re install to reset the camera.

Thanks for your reply.  Here's the thing:  I have 3 cameras.  One works outside.  When I bring the other 2 in the house and resync as suggested, they do work and film in the house.  When put back outside, no filming at all.  And Arlo won't talk with me unless I pay them. One other man wrote to tell me he had the same problem.  I will never recommend their products to anyone again.

Is the camera outside that works closest to the base station, that is will the other problem cameras work in the same location as the working camera?

Thanks for offering help.  The one camera that is not working is closer to the base than the one that is.  And all info says that I am connected to the cameras that do not work.  What else can I ry?  Please email directly if you can.  I would appreciate any help I can get.

I see that you emailed but I do not know how to answer from that site.  And on top of it, I hit a button that said my problem was solved.  It isn't.  I did that by accident.
