I recently purchased an iPhone with facial recognition.

When I go to the Arlo app it wants me to log in. It recognizes me but then it wants to perform 2FA. I have to enter a 6 digit code. I get a text that has the code. I have to leave Arlo to go to the text to get the code. When i come back to Arlo the page to enter the 6 digit code is gone and it starts the process all over again.

If I send the code to my email I have the same issue because I have to leave the ARLO app to read the email.

I can get the code if I was to open the email on my laptop but that does me no good when I'm out and about.

Resolution? Thanks.

Once the mobile has been trusted you should not have to use 2FA again.

Manage the 2FA settings in the app under settings/profile/login settings/two-step verification and select the mobile as trusted.

I get " There was a problem trusting this device"

Have you tried deleting the arlo app and reinstalling again, then try trusting the mobile via the pc web login, my.arlo.com?

That appears to have worked after deleting and reinstalling the app. I'll test it again when I'm at work tomorrow.

Thank you
