The Android app will not stay running on my Samsung S8+ after updating to 2.5.1. Installed app and reinstalled multiple times and also restarted in between uninstalls. As soon as I log in using password or fingerprint the app stops and I get notification from Android stating such. Can't get past the cameras attempting to load before the app crashes.

Try and go to settings, applications, Arlo, storage and clear the cache.
I just installed on my S7 Edge running Android 7.0 with no problem.

Jshupe,
Do you have any other devices that you could try logging in with to see if you experience the same behavior? Is this only happening on S8+?

Something that has worked for me in the past when I have done a manual uninstall, reinstall and it screws things up on my S8+:
Uninstall Arlo app Setting>Apps>Arlo. Only on your phone. Do not do any uninstall at Google Ply Store.
Power cycle your phone
Go to Settings>clouds and accounst>backup and restore.
At the bottom on Google automatic updates (for app reinstall), toggle that off. You can turn back on later
At top on Samsung account do a backup.
Then do a restore.
Neither of these will take long if you are in a decent wifi area.
Now go to Play Store and install Arlo.
Some of these moves may be superfluous but I like to cover all bases.
