Does anyone know if it is possible to get a longer cable, I don't know the exact specs other than it's 12V (as seen on a previous post). I think the standard plug cable for the power adapter to the base station is 2m, so I would be looking for a 5m or 10m cable.
I am based in UK so do not want to purchase the incorrect voltage , etc.
Can anyone offer some advice ?

There is nothing special about Arlo's power adapters. They are pretty well industry standard. You just need something with the right volts and (+/-) polarity, enough amps (more is fine) and a tip that will fit.
The specifications are on the label on the VMB4000, 12V and 1.5 Amps.
You will find many of these in the usual places, although you may have a hard time getting a 5m or 10m cable. An extension cable might be easier to obtain.
