Hi am looking to add cameras to my original set of Arlo I think they are 2pro but I want to add 6gen but I don’t know if they would work with my original ones
One part of this is the base station compatibility.
If the base is compatible, then you can add the Pro 6 cameras to it.
If not, you can still connect the Pro 6 cameras directly to your home wifi (no base needed).
Another aspect is that you will need a subscription to get cloud recordings on the new cameras. Arlo used to offer 7 day free cloud storage, but they stopped doing that on new camera models back in 2018. All currently sold cameras need a subscription for cloud storage.
