Just purchased Doorbell 2k

 video quality is awful, looks dark with increased contrast?

doorbell activates at 30% sensitivity with no motion (already reduced)

doorbell alerted me all night saying vehicle (my own) stationary on the driveway.

Any ideas on the work around  for these faults please? 
if I increase sensitivity the doorbell is in constant alert with no presence detected 

I hate this already and prefer the original which has faults but not this bad.
