I am trying to connect a VMB4540 Hub to my network to add additional cameras, Arlo Pro 2's. My current Base Station VMB4000, has been up and running for years without any issues. Can these two items run together or will I always run into connectivity issues. My PC will not find the VMB4540.

Are you seeing it in your router's attached device list?

I explained this incorrectly. The VMB4540 is listed in my network list but the Arlo app can't find it to add to my devices.

Is this a used smarthub? Or a new one?
Have you tried using a PC (my.arlo.com)?

This is a brand new smarthub purchased from Arlo and I am running everything on a PC. The VPN is also turned just for good measure.

Turn if off during the install. It gets in the way of discovery.

I've tried the VPN on and off. Same results, no connection.

Did you also try the phone app?

No, that didn't work either. Used the app on my Android phone, VPN off. The smarthub has a blue light showing.
