Hi,
Have an existing installation with doorbell via Wi-Fi. Just bought an additional Pro5 camera and went through same procedure to install but I have no success. Went through all online troubleshooting guides. Also reinstalled the doorbell without any problem to make sure there was no issue with the Wi-Fi.
Currently left without any options how to move forward and get it working. Any ideas what could be the issue?

Not necessarily.
Take a screen shot of the attached device list before you scan the QR code, and then compare the list after the chime with the screen shot.

If you are getting the chime when you scan the QR code, then can you let us know if the camera is showing up in the router's attached device list?
Does your router let you disable 5 ghz wifi? The Pro 5s is dual band, and it might be connecting to a different radio than the one used on the phone. (Some routers will show you the band being used in the attached device list).

i get the chime but i cant locate the camera it in the routers device list. There are a few unknown connections but assume it would be listed as an Arlo if connected?
There is a "smart mode" on the router where it shifts to 2,4 Ghz for 30 minutes. Then the 5 Ghz is shut down.
