I’ve just changed my cameras from pro 4 to pro 5. Back In April 24 I installed the new app. What a nightmare that turn out to be. The old app was a doddle to use . No telephone support ever needed.
Once I changed to pro 5 I knew I knew they were going to be a pain to set up again, as last time I spoke to 4 different people, before I managed to achieve a working schedule. Which served me well until I installed the Pro 5s. This time I spoke to two different representative’s, over four different conversations. It amazes me that each person you speak to gives you different instructions. When in actual fact, had they left the old app as it was . I would have never needed telephone support. Just think of the money Arlo could have saved in employing support reps, had they not changed things. No wonder the monthly fee is sky rocketing. 😕

Thank you for your reply,
I phoned Arlo help line, and although the instructions given were different to the Pro 4s. 2 years ago. After about 4 different ….. I think…. 😕 they seem to be working🤞, although the set up is totally different. I tried several times to set it up my self but failed each time.
The schedule I was trying to set up was this . 4 cameras and one doorbell camera.
Drive, Front Garden, and door bell cameras to be armed 24/7. - ( I prefer alerts anyone approaching my front of house.) Side door, and Back garden cameras to be armed from 9pm to 7am. (I don't want alerts and them recording every time I go in and out of the side door and into back garden.) The old app I found this easy to set up. But the new app totally confuses me I' m 78 years maybe this is the reason. 😕

The scheduling for the different cameras is the same - there's no difference in how to schedule a Pro 4 or 5. Exactly what trouble are you having? It's as simple as duplicating what you had for the Pro 4 to set up the Pro 5.

I think the issue here is that installing the Pro5s switched the account UI to "Feed".
@P_Bow - can you provide details on what schedule you want? (for all the cameras). Include geofencing details if you use that.

One approach is to modify the three built-in modes as follows:
- "Arm Away" arms all cameras (which it does by default)
- "Arm Home" also arms all cameras (which it does by default)
- "Standby" arms the drive, front garden, and doorbell (NOT the default)
You do this by selecting routines->modes in the app. Then press the > next to each mode. Make sure all cameras are listed in "Arm Away" and "Arm Home". Then go into "Standby" and add rules for the drive, front garden and doorbell. You add a camera by pressing the + sign next to "Device rules". (You delete one by pressing the > next the camera in the list, and then pressing "Delete Device Rules".
Once you've done this, you create two schedule automations. Select routines->automations in the app. The first automation switches the system into "Standby" at 7 am. The second switches the system into "Arm Home" at 9 pm.
Now go back to routines->modes, and make sure the two automations are selected in both "Arm Home" and and "Standby". Turn both automations off in "Arm Away".
Then put the system into "Standby" (if you are doing this during the day), or "Arm Home" (if you are doing this between 9 pm and 7 am). The system should run the schedule you want.
The idea here is that you only use "Arm Away" when you are away from home for a while (several days). You put the system into "Arm Away" on the dashboard screen when you leave, and put it back into either "Standby" or "Arm Home" when you return. All cameras then remain armed 24x7 until you return.
