If I disable my cameras when using the solar panel, will it assist in allowing the camera charge faster? It's my understanding the solar panels are intended to be trickle chargers for the purpose of keeping the camera "topped off". Basically I attached it with cameras at 50% and I'm trying to avoid disconnecting them to charge given their hard to reach locations.

Arlo hasn't said, but I suspect the power use when "turned off" is the same as when the camera is disarmed.

If they are really inaccessible, you might consider getting the XL upgrade kit, as the XL battery has 2.5x more capacity than the standard battery.  That will give you more margin to get through periods when there isn't much sun.
