Pro 5 won’t record/trigger motion when connected to outlet

Immediately stops triggering when connected. Does the opposite when I disconnect the 25ft outdoor power cord.
I have seen a prior discussion on this, but don’t find it helpful regarding eero. I have Orbi and my network seems fine. My ultra 2s do not have this issue.

seems more intermittent. I reset and removed the device then resynced it. Problem is that it will probably start again in a few days as that happened last time.
