Pro 5 night vision poor in outdoor setting

Indoor the camera is satisfactory at night, although nowhere near as good as the pro 2 cameras I’m running off the same hub, however placing camera in an outdoor setting results in picture quality deteriorating….just a grey black grainy mess…. is set to night vision…black and white….is there another setting or adjustment I’m missing for camera to work at night

There's a spotlight in the camera that allows for color nighttime recordings. You can use that instead of the IR LEDs for illumination by going into the camera settings, Night Vision and select the spotlight/color option.
