You can mute them temporarily by

  1. pressing the profile icon in the upper left
  2. selecting notifications
  3. selecting mute notifications
  4. selecting the time window (30 min, 1 hr, 3 hr, 24 hr)

Or edit the rule in the mode(s) you are using to turn off notifications
