I am getting kicked out of the online portal every 30 seconds using my Pro 5S setup. I do log out of my phone app when I use the web app (as you had to do with the first generation Arlo systems). I cannot figure out why.

Also, two of my cameras have mysteriously went "offline" a week ago and I can't figure out how to restart them from the phone app, which is why I wanted to try from the online portal. Yes, the batteries in both cams are charged.

Have to say that my original Arlo Pro system was a lot more reliable.

You no longer need to log out (or automatically get logged out) when using the same credentials on 2 different devices. I use this all the time, switching between my app and the web client.

However, being automatically logged out from the web client after 30 seconds isn't correct behavior. I assume this doesn't happen with the app?

I have the same condition.

If I log onto the web portal from my house, which is on the same network as my base station... it works fine. But if I attempt to log in from work, I get kicked out of the system after about 30 seconds or so.

I contacted support and they asked me for logs in Chrome and screen shots. So far, no resolution... which I've found to be typical with Arlo Support. These cameras and subscriptions are far too expensive for this sort of nonsense.

FWIW, if your employer is using a proxy server or has other web access controls in place, this could be on your company, not Arlo.

Are you seeing this behavior when using other wifi?  One easy test is to connect your home PC through a hot-spot on your phone instead of your normal home network, and see if that works correctly.

Same issue here. 30 seconds is a little bit of an exaggeration, but it's extremely short.

I was just forcibly logged out WHILE WATCHING a video. If that doesn't count as being active, I don't know what does.

Is this on the web browser or on the app?

For me it was browser. Firefox 137.0.1 (64-bit)

Are you still seeing this same behavior?

I haven't done enough browsing to know recently. I'll do some testing today and report back.

I've been logged in for just about 30 minutes with no issues.

Good to hear, please let me know if the behavior comes back.
