I am a Pro 5 user with local storage setup (no subscription). On 18 August my system stopped recording to my FAT32 USB and visibility in Feed also stopped. At that point I had been using the cameras for over five months so it is unrelated to a subscription trial. I have already performed a factory reset on the hub, re-synced the cameras, and reformatted the drive, but the hub is still failing too save clips. I read that the hub's firmware profile may need to be refreshed or patched as this relates to a firmware update issue in August that impacted those using a smart hub without a subscription.

Okay that USB didn't have enough space left on it. I've switched to another USB and it seems to be working! The old recordings still can't be downloaded to watch, but the new ones can. I think you've done it! Don't close the chat just yet so I can keep testing it out, but thankyou

You will need to set up the local storage on the basestation. Feed will not show recordings as the Pro 5 does require a subscription to use the cloud storage. Please make sure these steps are set up correctly.

Usually this is a retrieval/playback issue, and not a storage issue. Often fully uninstalling and reinstalling the app will resolve playback issues.
Did you remove the storage (ejecting it from the app), and then connecting it to a PC? Then look for recordings. That would confirm that the problem is with storage.

When I ejected the USB and put it in my computer it only had recordings up to 18th August. I have reinstalled the app. Local recordings in the feed were working up until 18th August

Did the PC offer to "repair" the file system when you connected the drive to the PC?
Did you reformat the drive in the PC, or did you reformat it using the app?

The PC didn't flag any concerns with the USB, it did not offer or suggest to repair. The USB was reformatted in the PC

A PC will not format to FAT32 without a utility if the drive exceeds 32GB. WHat size is the drive? Have you tried formatting in the hub instead?

Have just reformatted in the hub, twice. Deleted the app and reinstalled. No change, no events/recordings.

Okay we're getting closer. Changing the USB has brought up the most recent recordings under Local in Feed, and in Storage Settings, however
1. No new recordings are being added if I trigger a camera
2. All the recent recordings can't actually be 'downloaded' to watch the recording. It says "Failed to download. Try again."
