Hi all, I have been using a single Pro 5S camera in my shop for the last 5 months.  I have 2 batteries so that I can always have one charged.  No problems.

Yesterday I received a notice that the battery was low.  I swapped out the battery, but couldn't get the camera back online (black screen saying that the camera was offline).  I got it working after about 15 minutes but noticed that my feeds had actually ended maybe 2 hours earlier.  Before changing the battery I hadn't looked at a live view so really don't know if it went offline earlier or not.

The camera went offline again after about 10 minutes.  I had several feed images in that time frame so things were working.  I checked the camera remotely several times throughout the night but nothing.  When the person opening the shop this morning entered, the feed kicked on for several minutes but died again.  I couldn't get it back online.  I restarted 2 or 3 times.  I replaced the battery again for the camera.

At this point, I just decided to delete the camera and re-install.  Now the problem is that in re-installing the camera, I can't get it to 'chime' when reading the QR code during the installation.  Any suggests?  Camera issue?  Was Arlo having a server problem?  Thanks.

Does the blue LED briefly blink when first inserting the battery? How about at any other time as you try to get it going? Have you tried resetting the camera?

Hi, I tried restarting the camera a few times (before deleting it), but nothing happened.  When I insert the battery, I get a single blue blink, and then rapid blinking as I'm holding it in front of the QR code.   I've adjusted the brightness and I've tried various distancing, but no chime, no connection.

Thanks!  I didn't think I'd have to reset and never knew that button was there.  Best

Unfortunately it lasted about 5 minutes.  I was in the process of setting the activity area and it went offline.

I am noticing the pressing the button to release the cam from the case isn't really working properly.  In the past, I would push and it would pop out.  Now I press and I have to sort of pry it out.  I imagine it has nothing to do with the functioning of the camera, but...

Try getting some silicone grease, and apply it to the O-ring.

This sounds like maybe the battery needs to be charged up.

Noted.  I called Arlo this morning and they are replacing the camera.  He said even if he could get the camera working, the camera not popping out of the case would still be cause for replacement.

As for the battery, I used 2 different ones.  The system comes online for about 5 or 10 minutes a few times a day.  I've restarted and reset multiple times.  I think something isn't physically connecting.  I'll know when I get the replacement.  Thanks
