Just a quick tip for everyone reading this follow the other great articles.

Except note with the Aruba Instant On kit it defaults to WPA2/WPA3.

Make sure you disable this on the 2.4 mhz network to ensure it provides WPA2 personal or it won't connect.

Just saying.

Ughhh. My Arlo Bridge would be the only device in my network that doesn't support the WPA2/WPA3 Personal setting if that's the reason I'm having trouble getting it to connect. It would absolutely suck having to switch this to WPA2-only Personal and lose being able to connect over WPA3 with newer devices just because of one legacy Arlo device.

@JamesC I know the security lights are EOL but just out of curiosity, would a firmware update theoretically be able to add support for WPA2/WPA3 Personal or does that require newer hardware? As I understand the setting, it should allow legacy devices to connect using WPA2 while simultaneously allowing newer devices to connect over WPA3.

EDIT: Nevermind, it turns out the Arlo Bridge does work with WPA2/WPA3 Personal. I had to turn my VPN off before connecting the Bridge (though oddly, my other Arlo Bridge connected just fine with the VPN on).
