I recently upgraded my Wi-Fi to an Orbi system that apparently only has one setting for channels. Thats auto from 2.4 to 5.0. The problem is I can't designate my phone or the Arlo cameras to only 2.4 ghz so that I can set my cameras up with the Orbi. Has anyone ran across this issue and found a solution ?

I also use Orbi.  Try just ignoring the advice for 2.4 ghz, and continue with onboarding.  That has always worked for me.

Thank you for the reply but my mobile devise has to be on the 2.4 ghz as well as the Arlo!

I don't use an Orbi or other mesh network and my SSIDs are unique to the frequency band but I never put my phone on the 2.4GHz band to add new devices which works fine. As @StephenB suggests, perhaps just try to proceed with the install to see what happens.

Arlo advises that, but I've onboarded many Arlo cameras successfully with my Orbi setup anyway.

So give it a try.  If it fails with your phone, try again with a PC (browsing to my.arlo.com).
