I have a VMB4540 Pro SmartHub with firmware edition 1.28.1.0_1937_0d0e9d8 located at a property out of state. It has worked reliably for 2 years, then suddenly went offline earlier this week. A helper we have locally was able to reboot it by unplugging, but the same has happened now two days later and this helper is not available. Is there any way to reset this remotely? Is this and indication of something going wrong with the SmartHub that would require replacing it? Is there another model that we could replace it with that is less prone to this glitch?

Hi @ekclymer
Thanks for the feedback, Do you know if there is a power outage occurring or issues with the ISP at that location, Or possibly a power strip issue or bad ethernet cable? These are some of the troubleshooting steps we can do if you're at the location.
Do you know if it's losing power completely or just going offline? You can tell by the LED light illuminating.

A useful thing to do for remote bases/hubs is to use a WiFi-enabled switch to plug the hub into. That way as long as the site's WiFi is working you can power cycle the hub using that switch.
