Not 100% sure which cameras I have but I have a recording base station. My free cloud storage trial expired and I don’t intend to renew it since I have the recording base station and don’t need it. The Arlo app plastered a link to the sign up page on my screen. I cannot remove it and therefore cannot access my video library. They are trying to force me into purchasing their service by locking my out of my own data storage. Outrageous and can I fix it?

What model base station do you have?

Thanks for your reply.
Sorry I haven’t been at the house. Base station Model no FC9C983D25BF and no markings on the cameras so still don’t know the model but they are the ones with larger battery if that helps. And still unable to view my library. Very annoying.

Doesn't help me - I don't work for Arlo, so I can't work backwards from the serial number to get the model (VMB3xxx, VMB4xxx, or VMB5000).
Older "legacy" cameras (first generation, Pro, Pro 2) came with 7 days of free cloud storage. Newer models (starting with the Ultra in 2018) didn't have that feature, and require a subscription to get cloud storage. Arlo just announced they are putting the legacy cameras on end-of-life status this year (exactly when depends on the model), and folks will need to get a subscription if they want to get cloud storage for those cameras after the EOL date.
The only base stations with direct access to local storage are the VMB4540 and the VMB5000 smarthubs. You can look in the app settings for the base, and if you don't see an option for direct access then you must have an older base. Make sure you look in the app for this - the settings are not shown in my.arlo.com.
With the older bases, you cannot see local recordings from the app (or browser). The only way to see local storage on those bases is to eject the USB storage from the app and connect the storage to a PC.

Hokulele,
It appears you have Arlo Pro 4 cameras paired with a VMB4540 SmartHub.
Without an active subscription or trial plan, these cameras will not save content to the cloud. You will need to set up remote access to local storage with your VMB4540 SmartHub if you want to store content locally and view it remotely. You can find more information on this here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062337/What-is-Direct-Storage-Access-and-how-do-I-use-it

Thanks for the input. I got it working with an USB drive and some setting adjustments.
