  • My credit card was billed twice for shipping (sending new replacement one and returning defective one). Is that normal procedure?

For warranty returns, the buyer needs to pay shipping for the defective camera and Arlo pays for shipping the replacement.

I too was billed twice for shipping, and then a 3rd charge was added to my credit card. What is going on with Arlo?

Were these pending charges or are the charges show as completed on your billing statement?

One pending transaction for $1.38, two posted transactions, each for $23.36.
Also, this is the 4th or 5th time I have sent this information to Arlo.

I received the below response below which starts with "Hello dnolan,"

to my last post. I believe you sent it to me in error. Or perhaps you are not familiar with Arlo's RMA which reads:

  • If you selected Advance Ground:

Arlo will ship out a replacement first, which should arrive within 3-5 business days. For return of the defective unit, a FedEx prepaid label is included in the package, and it must be used within 10 days after receipt.

I see on my credit card you returned $22.19. I was charged $23.36, twice.

You still owe me $1.17. Would you please return that to credit card.
