My cameras are installed at our lakehouse. I can view live stream but is there a way to set up local recordings so I can view the videos at my home without using a paid subscription? Or do I actually have to be there, at the lakehouse,  on the same wifi to view any past recordings? Thanks!

First, you need a smarthub (either a VMB4540 or a VMB5000) with at least 16 GB of storage attached.

You can then use the direct access to local storage feature to see recording w/o a subscription.  Remote access is possible with most internet service providers - but unfortunately not all of them.
