Recent attempted break in through window.
Planning installation 4 x Pro4 Cameras and Base Station VMB 4500.
Main requirement is continuous 10.00PM - 7.00 AM spotlight and siren activation on movement detection. Can the system be set up like this, is the installation capable of this with reasonable battery life.
Any helpful suggestions appreciated.
Thanks Denis

You won't get a continuous spotlight. I suggest getting a separate powered floodlights for this bit.

Yes, you can schedule siren activation on movement during the night.
The siren is in the cameras, and several folks here have complained that it isn't very loud.
Of course animals, and wind can also trigger the motion detection, so you should expect that.

Thanks Stephen
My post was confusing.
I meant to have the camera active from 10.00pm to 07.00am.
The spotlight and siren only active when movement detected.
Do you have any info about battery use under these conditions.
Thanks for your reply.

I don't use the siren myself, but suspect it's impact on battery life is small.
Overall, battery life depends on the
- amount of activity for the camera
- quality of the wifi signal
- temperature (battery drains more quickly when it is very cold
The amount of activity depends on how often the camera detects motion, so it is not possible to predict.
One option is to go with the Pro 4 XLs - they have a battery with about 2.5x more capacity than the standard Pro 4s. Though it is possible to upgrade Pro 4s to XL later on, if that is needed.
