Pro 4s are now recording

I have 3 original 3030s and 3 Pro 4s.  Prior to the last update only the old cameras were storing video motion events, as expected.  But when the app updated last month,  the Pro 4s started storing video events also.  Is this just a short term win that will expire?  I don't use these cameras enough to justify another monthly payment but I was very happy when I saw video save on my pro4 devices.  Anyone else have a similar experience or know if this will last?
