I have multiple battery problems with one of my new pro 4 cameras

1. Battery drains from 100% to 10% within 3 days (great connection to the basestation and connected to solar charger)

2. When charging the battery the charge percentage doesn't move unless I unplug it and plug it back in, it then jumps to the correct charging level.

This is awful, if I swap batteries between cameras then the replacement battery just drains as fast. The camera is not in a high footfall area and is set to just people to try and reduce time camera is active. My ring camera in the same position would give me about 2 months before recharging  was needed.

Any thoughts??

*Both cameras are on the very latest firmware (updated 2 days ago) This camera was draining batteries prior to the firmware update also*

Does it last longer when not connected to the solar charger?

About how much video activity (streaming plus recording) are you getting per day?  If you use activity zones, you need to disable them to estimate this.

Solar charger slows the drain down a bit but even with 5 hours of direct sunlight it only just holds it own. Activity zones are off. Notifications set to people only but still get motion notifications of other things. Audio is off

Average about 20 notifications per day from this camera. I think this lemon will be going back. All cameras are also connected to HomeKit which is only set to motion detect at night and also to people only.

The other Pro 4 uses about 3% per day which is acceptable

I suggest swapping the cameras (not just the batteries), just to really sure it is the camera.
