I added a Pro4 to my older Pro system with hub. I can see the camera and look at live....but recordings do not show in my Library. Also I understand the Pro.s are beeing phased out.... can I use my current hub with extra Pro 4 cameras or best to just buy new system.... on sale at Costo currently.....

You can continue to use your Pro cameras. At some point in the future that might be a problem, but Arlo says they have no plans to actively prevent them from working.
The Pro 4 is compatible with VMB4xxx hubs, and Arlo has not listed any hubs in their EOL document.

Pro cameras (and other legacy cameras) were sold with 7 days of free cloud storage. Arlo continues to provide that.
But they stopped doing that for new camera models back in 2018. All currently sold cameras (including the Pro 4) require a paid subscription to get any cloud recordings.
