My camera battery is not charging based on the percent of battery left reporting on the arlo app. Once I rebooted the smart Hub vmb454or3 , I reattached the magnetic charging cord to the camera and the camera blue light blinked about three times. The app showed that it was charging but 3 hours later the percentage of charge did not change. This happened on 2 of the cameras I have been trying to charge. Percent of charge remains in one camera is 46% and the other is 54%. I have not tried to remove the cameras from the smart hub and reinstall yet. That will probably be my next step.

The XL batteries definitely take longer to charge. When nearly depleted, they take ~6 hours or so (as you saw with the second battery). It's just a function of input current vs. battery capacity.

Hi @TD2day
What percentage is displayed in the web portal as well? Have you also tried reinstalling the Arlo app? If you reinstall the cameras, please report back here with the results so I can assist further if needed.

I ended up calling Arlo support on this battery problem. We spent over an hour on the phone doing different steps including removing the camera from my arlo system and then re attaching it to the arlo app. I had also removed the arlo app and reinstalled on my phone and or Ipad. Eventually by holding the resync button down for 30 seconds or longer the batteries began to take on a charge. I typically like to charge them before they get lower than 45%. I don't know why this battery charging problem hit two batteries all of a sudden. I had also used two different charging cords. I have owned this Pro 4 camera system for years now, but I have always struggled getting my Pro 4 XL batteries to charge and even after they are on the charger for a long time, they don't show a percentage improvement on the app. But after 4 to 6 hours on the charger they start showing results.
I'm hopeful now that I have reset/resynced the batteries that they will charge up easier than what I have experienced in the past. I wasn't able to fully recharge them after this incident as I needed to leave the premises for a few days. So, I don't know exactly how the fully recharge experience will be.

I was able to get back to trying to recharge 2 pro 4 XL batteries that both were around 53%. It took one 4.5 hours to get to 100% using a new magnetic charger cord. It took the other battery 6.5 hours to reach 99%. This seems to be a lot longer than they should be to charge these batteries.
