Not getting Notifications with HomeKit

Arlo Pro 4 cameras (3),  Arlo Smarthub 4540,  Apple TV 4K Gen 3, iPhone 14 Pro Max.   All with up to date firmware and latest versions of Apps

 

Started with the 3 cameras, came with 30 day free trial of their subscription service and was receiving notifications on my iPhone as it should.

Added the Arlo Smarthub and Apple TV so I can use HomeKit instead of subscribing to the Arlo Service.   Bridge is established and I can view all 3 cameras on HomeKit.   BUT I am no longer receiving notifications.   Events are being recorded on the Arlo App, but not recorded on HomeKit.    I have confirmed "Activity Notifications" are turned on and "Time" is set to "Any"

 

Any suggestions?   Or is this normal?   I'm beginning to think Arlo doesn't play well with Apple despite saying they do.    Can't wait for "Matter" to get better established.

There has to be a basestation/hub for Homekit to work. https://kb.arlo.com/000062279/How-do-I-connect-my-Arlo-device-to-Apple-HomeKit
