New app loses customization?

Has anyone else had issues with the new app version? I used to have Arlo pro 2, which I loved so much I got pro 4s to replace them as well as the door bell. I also upgraded to a secure plan. Unfortunately it forces the app to update and I’ve lost the ability to use time based geofencing. Has anyone found a way around it? Thinking I’m going to return the cameras if I can’t get it to work. The custom modes and features was my only rationale for paying the higher monthly fee. Am I missing something?

Pro 4 cameras didn't force an update to your user interface (UI). Pro 5 and newer cause this to happen but Pro 4 and older do not.

Unfortunately, since you've migrated to the new UI, you get the 3 default modes and no way to add more. However, you can use those 3 any way you need, regardless of their names which may allow you enough flexibility.

I also added the doorbell which forced the update. The modes are now limited to 3, and there is no longer the option to schedule geofencing. Based on your response sounds like there is no solution.  Thanks anyway for the response.

You don't schedule geofencing. Geofencing overrides the schedule but use of Arrive and Leave can indeed use the schedule. I have it set up that way here.
