We have six Pro 4 and 1 Pro Flood Light camera, with Alexa and Google skills loaded.  

 

Why does our Alexa Echo give notification of movement ("Movement Detected @...." ) but we do not get notification from our Arlo app or Google Home?  This is not an isolated case to one camera, but all of them.

 

We do get notifications when Animal, Vehicle or Person is stated, but when "Movement" is detected we do not get the proper notifications.

 

Why would this be?

Nobody else experiencing this issue?   How about Arlo Tech's, what would cause this condition?

When you get the Movement Detected from Alexa is there a corresponding recording in the Library/Feed? Can you send a screenshot of the notification from Alexa as well as the movement within the library please.

We do not get any recording in the Feeds.  Alexa simply announces and displays a message that movement was detected, no notifications on our phones or Google Home.  We believe the movement may have been birds flying past the cameras. 

 

Will try to get a picture of the message Alexa displays but not always close to the Echo unit when it goes off.

Do you have activity zones set up?

Yes, each camera has at least one activity zone setup, with one camera utilizing two activity zones.  This issue has occurred on numerous occasions on different cameras.

Still continuing to happen... so why does our Echo Show 8 give us motion notices, but nothing comes thru our notifications from our app, or for that matter, from our Google Home either.  Just from Alexa.
