It depends a lot on the signal conditions.

If your base is near the router, you can try a test with your phone.  Set it up to use wifi only, and then use speedtest (the free Ookla app) to measure upload and download speeds from the camera location.  Upload speed matters more than download.

You want a stable connection.  Upload speed should be at least 1 mbps for 1080p cameras, 2 mbps for 2K cameras, and 3 mbps for 4K.  Best to have more than the minimum, as performance will vary based on a variety of conditions.
