After a couple years using Arlo Pro 4 with frustrating intermittent offline episodes, we discovered it was due to the missing battery. Even though the electricity is hardwired, it appeared that the battery helps with the wifi connections. Who knew?

Perhaps some glitches in the power account for that (either in the main power feed, or maybe the cable connection at the Pro 4)?
FWIW, my own Pro 4 is hardwired, and I do leave the battery in. I use a base station that is protected by a UPS, so I still get recordings during a power outage.
