These cameras simply cannot be found. I've reset my Netgear Nighthawk M1 to 2.4GHz. My iPhone 8 can't find them and neither can my browser, the latest Mozilla firefox. At first the hub appeared only on the browser but it does now appear on the phone but cameras will still not connect or be found.  I've run the batteries flat on each of the three cameras trying to find them.

Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Firefox won't play 2K or 4K videos, which is why you got the download to view message.

Try Chrome or Safari instead.  They will work if your Mac is new enough to have hardware support for HEVC video.

Thanks for that info. 🙂

Yes, Safari is latest and OS is Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91)

You also need a Mac with the right hardware.  Newer ones will have it.

I don't own a Mac, so don't know much about their hardware/

Here is a different URL (not Arlo) that uses HEVC video.

If you can see video, then your hardware+browser will also work on my.arlo.com.

It didn't work until I used their defaults button.

That likely changed the format to AVC.  It should play without that.

Another test that should work is opening a downloaded Arlo mp4 in Chrome.

Do you know what processor you are running in the PC?

It now runs in my Firefox. So somehow I fixed something.

Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 3 GHz

By fixing something, I hope it wasn't as deep as the cameras.

Downloaded videos play OK in Quicktime.

We'd need the actual chipset info.  For instance 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1145G7

With current windows, you can see this by right-clicking on "this pc" and then choosing "properties".

FireFox does not support HEVC.  It will play manually stored recordings, because those are 1080p and use AVC.

Note if you turn on "auto zoom and tracking" in the camera settings, then the resolution does drop to 1080p, and the camera will send AVC.  So that would allow you to play the recordings in any browser.
